Have you ever wondered why you end up on the short of end the stick with real estate
investing? So many people have lately – more foreclosures and more short sales in
residential real estate exist today than any time in modern history. But all that
can be different for you and I – we just need to pay attention to what is happening
where. Remember that we always spoke about the insider information being publicly
available and never more has that been true as we have watched the emergence of
10 Megapolitans across the United States.
You are of course wondering, what is a Megapolitan?
Any two or more metropolitan cities that are connected by interstate that have over
time filled in between them. A great example is right here in our back yard.
For years a drive from Phoenix down to Tucson was considered a two and half hour
drive and often times you would see nothing in between except a little gas station
and dairy queen in Picacho Peak. Today it’s a 90 minute drive – because the desert
in between is filled in with residential, retail, industrial, and commercial real
estate.
Why is this so important? Quite simply over 35 trillion dollars
has been dedicated already by big business, educational endowments, and government
spending. 10 of these economic markets exist in the U.S. and you want to become
familiar with all of them. And remember what we said last month about the economic
pioneers – where big money goes – little money follows. So look for monthly insights
into some of these amazing burgeoning markets over the next few months. And remember
